Since it was only 11am and I didn't have to be anywhere, I just started riding. I checked out Beltzville State Park, there's a big dam there.

Next I jumped on the PA turnpike and took a ride through the Lehigh Tunnel, which is about 3/4 mile long. For no other reason than "it was there," heh heh. Turned around and rode back through the northern tunnel and headed home.

210 mile day - a new personal high.

Oh, and the weather couldn't have been better. Sunny, blue skies, cool breeze...a perfect bike day.
your like 45-50 min from me in Allentown. I head over that way quite a bit. Farther out this way on 78 is too crowded.

Thanks! Yeah it is a bit of an original, I think you either love it or hate it. Either way people in town when I'm parked etc are coming and talking to me about whether they do or don't like it, it's been cool. I met a retired US Navy SEAL the other day which is pretty unusual since I'm in New Zealand - he told me that he loved Popeye and "Navy ****" and bought his first Harley in 1974. So I'm loving that it's an icebreaker

Hey thanks very much! I'm not always into the unusual custom paint either, it just sort of happened and I like it! I told the artist that it needs to look like sunny weather not stormy weather so that I smile when I look at it, I think he nailed it. He also replaced the usual Olive Oyl tattoo with one of me which is a fun touch

Tall custom sissy bar/luggage rack is currently being made up that will have a brass anchor in the back and brass knuckledusters for the tie-down points, little brass knuckleduster will go on the air cleaner cover. Will put new mirrors on too. Also the wiring situation around the bars I don't love, will get braided cables and try to streamline it a bit. That'll be all for 2017 but eventually I'll get whitewall tyres and a few other bits and pieces.

tank almost looks like a mirror....perhaps a reflection. Nice work.

Did a helluva job I think. Afr is a nice flat slope and power is up! My tune wasn’t bad, just not peaking due to running rich. Can’t wait to get her and flog some streets!!
you know... according to the old grumps, this is all in your head, right? W cams will explode past 5k, the sun will go black, and the riders on the pale horses will come for your bike, lol.

wrong AF, lol

yea i shared their FB post over on the sportster FB page, got like half a dozen replies that my tune is **** and should go somewhere that knows what their doing. At least one guy who was harassing me realized he was looking at the before numbers. seriously?
The only problem was I showed up @ 9am to pick her up, since he said he was going to let her cool down, remove his sensors, and be ready for me tomorrow. Except, it wasnt. It was STILL on the dyno this AM. He wasnt there. so my wife had to come back, pick me up, and Ill have to go back AGAIN later.
Got a call @ 10:30. oh NOW its ready. Except, opps, we took it for a road test (uhhh why??) and umm, well your mounting plate for the ham can broke off, so... yeah..
suddenly i'm not too happy with this shop.

well I just got this one from Hammer so. hopefully itll be covered by someone. I have a feeling from the way he described it, that they're going to fall back on their 'its not our responsibility if something breaks while were working on it' waiver.
i THINK its just the cover plate mounts, but hes going to show me when I get there.
