Put 100+ miles on her yesterday.
Found out my home made seat (which seemed comfy in the barn) is an ***-killing, torture device.
No matter how proud I was of my first attempt at a leather solo seat, I will be re-upholstering that thing pretty damn soon.

I have yet to finish the mount and test it, but my solo seat has a little over 1" of a hard memory foam in it. (cheapo Ultima) Also have heard about people having success with foam and/or gel inserts.

I have 1" of closed cell foam. Feels nice for a few minutes, then becomes hellish agony after 50 miles or so.

I took off the 12" Progressive shocks and replaced them with some 12.5" progressives with a lower spring rate. In the process, I took off the lower chrome spring cups - I like the looks better without them. It rides much better now, less harsh over bumps & a little more responsive. Tried out the new setup on a local mountain road...

Rode to work and back yesterday....did a burn-out in the driveway before parking for the night.

Rode to work this morning....did a burn-out before parking it at the shop.

Not long, tire shredding burn-outs...just that 2 second spinning that tells me I'm itching for more of a ride than to work and back.

Goofed off

the dyna now makes this thing feel slow again but, the experience is so different on the sporty. still super fun and way more flickable... but unfortunately the dyna now does warp speed and it has comparatively dulled the shock and awe of the stage 4 sporty. but if it wasn't for the suffering that took place on the build, the dyna would not have been done so fast. fun times. there a few places in the video where i bounced off 7000 rpm. i love my sporty

Been out riding my a$$ off :-)
Rode down to Myrtle Beach for a weekend of fun, rode down Saturday afternoon and came back Monday afternoon. I put on about 350 miles on the new air shocks and loved every bit of it, stock seat wasnt too bad either.

While I was away my exfil 80 biltwell bag and lepera seat came in so I mounted it up this morning and tested it out on my 12 mile ride to work...not sure how much I like it. It lowers my ride height/position but I feel more pushed to the front vs able to sit back comfortably.

Also the seat doesn't quite look like the "bare bones" seat I was expecting, part number on the bottom of seat was lck-006 vs LC-006(which is what I thought I was ordering)...grrr No biggie I guess, Ill give it a few more miles and contact ebay seller if I end up wanting to do a return.

Anywhoooo..here is a before and after pic of seat..

lol didn't try on the bag just yet. I would've been late for work out there messing around lol. I'll probably stuff some junk in it this weekend and see how it'll fit/look.

For now she's sitting in plastic haha
