took her for a spin around the block - loosened and shook her a bit last night, leveled the tops of the tubes with the forks to within a blond one as AvE calls it. Still seems to ride slightly to the right, kinda gotta sit on my left cheek to keep her straight without hands. Couldnt be part of the axle could it? greased the hell out of it when I put it back and used the 7/16 bit as recommended for roadsters, and i dont get any intermittent drag on the front discs either so I cant think it would be that...

Installed an Engine Guard but had to remount the regulator to mount the guard. Added 4.5" risers to the bars but had to mount the speedometer on top of the headlight eyebrow. Added a windshield and slipped on some drag specialties exhaust. Removed the rear rack and sissy bar and converted the seat to a solo seat.

Yes, you should at least be prepared to replace the gasket on the derby if you open it. If you want the cheapest/easiest/most piece of mind way...
Pull drain bolt and drain all oil out
Wipe off any metal "fur" from the bolt with a rag
Replace the o-ring
Put bolt back in to proper torque
Open the chain inspection cover (2 torx)
Put your spare 1QT of Formula+ in through the inspection hole.
That way you don't have to futz with the derby cover/gasket. You'll have fresh oil in there for sure, and hopefully no more leak.
In the future I'd just do the service yourself. It's really easy. Plenty of help here on the forum and on youtube (search for Delboy's Garage on youtube shows how to do a full 5k service and more)

And since the hotter weather has reached our area I also found the derby cover was leaking too. Picked up a new seal and watched the video. Did it last night. Old seal was not OEM but it was wiped out and torn and broke in a few places. No clue why this would not have been changed. I did have a little issue getting the new seal to sit in place...almost seemed to big in OD but got it after messing a while. Added a little more oil and reinstalled the cover while applying the copper anti seize stuff Delboy mentions to the derby screws. Found there was nothing of that type on them when I removed them. Retorqued to spec and NO DRIPS found!!!
