Had the first 1000 mile service done today, and went with the SYN3 oil.

Thanks. I still have the Vulcan 1600 and keeping my eyes open for a good deal. Maybe a Triumph Rocket or Sports Tourer.

Its far from "done", but here's what I was working on.
Got both of them "buckshoted" today....

So I was working a bit more on the 'buckshot' theme today... I'll
have to confess that 316 stainless mesh is a bit of a 'challenge' for
the non-professional to work with....

Keep up the good work. At the end...it will all be worth the blood, sweat, and tears...and sore fingers. It is always satisfying doing your own work.

Found a 2005 Triumph Rocket 2300cc motor with 140hp@5600rpm...142 torque @2500 rpm.
$4,000 is all he wants with only 1600 miles from a local estate sale.

Also I also have a 3rd generation Mazda Miata with a modified tuned Ford Fusion motor under the hood. Looks completely stock to even most Mazda mechanics.
ZoomZoom.
