well what I do to my bike today?
I brought her from outside to inside! Finally!

I have been building my garage since the early December and I was finally able to pour concrete This past Thursday. I cut the expansion joint yesterday, and I brought my bike in today.

Garage is nowhere near finished, and its not much(currently, I have wall up, roof up, and poured concrete. And thick plastic separating garage from outside...)
But at least she is our of weather with thin plastic cover being the only protection!

I did picked up some parts I have ordered(sissy bar, docking kit, and Passenger peg) from my local dealer

also ordered RSD 2-Up Seat Enzo(in black/Brown - I feel no one was giving a brown seat any chance!).

Also ordered one of these for wife.

Pink Label Ultra light helmet
I also ordered

oil cooler too? folks will talk greasy about them and the infamous hive mind "sportsters don't need" nonsense. They can do what they want with their bikes... this one is yours, not theirs. Fan assisted coolers are also available.

There's a long running jug fan thread in the dyna section might be a little helpful even though sportys dont have the HUGE heat issue like the dynas.

I've already got the oil cooler... Have Wards Parts Werks FCS
on by FLS and it works extreemly well. After the 1250 install, I
might consider the FCS for the Iron. IMHO, it 'blends in' much
better than the lovejugs and it really works.... Just another opinion.

Could've swore I heard that same 'soon' story 6 months ago.
Guess it depends on the definition of 'soon'....

Not sure whats being referred to, maybe a Chrome finish?

A 'bolt-in' FCS for an XL isn't available, so it would have to
be made to fit. It wouldn't work with my 'current' ignition location...

"Only" meaning that it appears there might not be anymore "Wards" fans.

Love jugs had their look-a-like at a recent show. It will be available in different finishes.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize that Wards could be out of business...
Appears that the Mity-Mite currently is only destined for Dyna/Touring
applications. Maybe we'll see an XL version 'soon'

Sorry for my ignorance....what is "Wards"? Assuming it is an abbreviation of Ward Werks (which I never heard of)?

Love Jugs did a test with some other fans (see link below). LJ certainly outperformed those by far but did not appear to be its look-a-likes i.e. comparing apples and apples. Love Jugs are stainless steel, waterproof, and claims to be quiet (can't hear it with the motor running even with stock pipes). The cool-master is smaller and more powerful than the original Love-Jugs..which is the one I am actually interested in for my sporty.

My bike gets really hot...I am feathering the clutch for 2/3 of my 15 mile one way commute when it is really slow...mostly in 1st or 2nd for this distance. Better to get something than have it start pinging or bind and need to pull over on the side where there is no place to do without a shoulder lane...then I will cause a major traffic jam...lol Makes me want to drive my car so I can sit in AC.

Got it...thanks for the link. Another option to look at if they will fit sporties.

Wait I am confused...in looking a the dyna link, did LJ buyout Wards or did wards go out of business
