So back on topic... Small bit of progress today,
got the primary cover off. Getting ready to install new
front 1200 gear & chain....

Edit: front/rear 883 = 34/57 and 1200 = 38/57

I know it will lift the front wheel, throttle only 2nd & 3rd.
Thanks T, that torque curve is quite something!

my Christmas gift from wife showed up today for my Forty-Eight.

they sure do look nice!

Cant install It yet as its 23degrees out, and bike is sitting out in open currently due to construction delay of my garage...
Certainly does look good. Fancy one for my Sporty, but money has other biking places to go first!

I rode the B***H!
I rode her hard!
well...I rode her until I got cold! ...
That didn't take too long.

I saw a lotta bikes today, probably 90 to 100, riding their New Years day ride.
Pretty cool tradition.
Most were Touring HD's, saw a couple of Wings...didn't see any other Sporties.

Man it felt good.
The last time I was able to ride was Tuesday November 22nd.
I'm ready for spring.

I guess you've been good this year. I have that combo unit on my Custom, and you'll really like the features is has.

What aftermarket pads did you have? Was there a problem with them? I need to do mine.

Lyndall Z+. Felt the stopping power was reduced from stock. After going back (did the fronts along with my forks) I'm certain it was. I'm sticking with HD going forward.

Interesting. I was going to go with a set of Hawk sintered pads for front & rear.
