I'm not into the contrast caps look. Once the pipe is mounted, i will determine if im going with the chrome collector heat shield like i did on the dyna. Made a huge difference.



not yet sure if i can stomach 800+ for rearsets.

 

Clearanced my rocker covers for higher lift cams.
Also installed Rocker Lockers. So simple even a caveman can do it.

Went ahead & 'dry fit' the rocker boxes to the Hammer Performance
Crush ported XL1200 heads w/pacalloy beehive springpak. No clearance
issues what-so-ever. Good to go, now I need to 'just do it'.

Well since it was 60 here in NJ, I HAD to take it out...


Got a new shot of it with the new bars / risers.

 

Installed (for real) a 'skid plate' or 'gravel guard'.

Next up, wrap up the wiring, hopefully tomorrow...

chased a gremlin... turned out to be a failed CD triple play. only left RTB signal would work... the right would do nothing. i blamed the new tail light and the taps first... but, it wasn't the light.... traced and studied the diagram. followed [7B] to my CD triple play and CD load balancer. turned out to be a failed triple play. removed it from the line, and everything worked. Called Shilo and told him. lifetime warranty! great!

 

All wiring to the front is 'done' & ECM relocated.... Only the
FI/coil/ign switch wires are showing.

I think I may re-do the wiring near the oil tank cover though...

After a night out of drinking, I woke up this morning to find my motorcycle parked in my dining room. No, I didn't drink and drive; I live 2-3 blocks from a ton of bars, so we walked. I remember getting home and wanting to start my headlight relo, speedo relo & wire tuck, but it was too dark, even with the lights in the parking garage. So apparently I thought it was a good idea to roll it into my apartment. Anyway...I'm almost done now. Headlight and speedo are done, just taking a break before tackling the wire tuck.
