Took off my W158 TTIs just to hear how much louder the pipes are without them. No complaints about TTIs ..just don't remember.

Update: Took the bike to work, came home and reinstalled the TTIs. Not much louder without it, but the pipes had a hollow sound. TTIs gave the pipes a deeper tone and smoothed out the gaps up the powerband.

Going to the Milwaukee Motorcycle Rally today . . . . so

Installed my new-to-me Leather Pros trunk pak.

Oh. .. . dusted off and polished the entire Sportster first and thoroughly cleaned/polished the windshield and chrome. .. .

Ride Safely . . . .

Did you go with Standard or Heavy Duty springs?

What setting are you using ?
Been a while, but I remember noticing for the first time I was gripping the tank with my knees for speed bumps, and I no longer needed to.

Light springs (I'm tall but only weigh 175lbs). Lightest preload. I'm happy with the setup for now.

I have those inserts to put in my short shots. Just haven't done it yet. DK told me without baffles and those inerts were the best sound and performance.

I have for now 65 k miles on my Sporty with the factory "dreaded brass rivets plate" still in the clutch.

As smooth as silk, no loss in traction, no problem at all...

Thanks. . . I'm leaning towards 12 or 12.5 with maybe HD springs on lowest setting unless I need more.
