Mounted my painted Gauntlet fairing and picked up a chrome Thunderheader. Need a chrome Stg 1 Big Sucker cover if anyone has one.

Damn forwards...

Tried to adjust it so my big *** boot toe would get under the shifter and now it won't hit all the gears.

What I SHOULD have done was move the lever on the shifter shaft instead of screwing with the rod. I didn't though...

Anyone know the stock length of the shifter linkage rod so I can start over? Perhaps I could talk someone into measuring theirs?

Thanks guys!

Did some more work on my tank. I think I may have messed up a bit. Parts look really cool, other parts not so much. Gotta let it dry more and see what it ends up looking like.

I cant as mine are still in LA waiting for their flight here! But I was intrigued by that and looked at the fitting instructions and note this bit if it helps?

Take a deep breath old chap - think calm thoughts!

Doesn't matter what the original length was, simply disconnect it and set the gear lever where you would like it, moving it on the shaft if that seems right. Tie it in place with a length of string off the handlebars, if you run out of hands! Then shorten the rod to match your preferred lever position. If that still isn't right, repeat as above.

Hope that helps!

Interesting. What is the look that you were going for? I like the top of the tank with the more even patina.
