pfft, they're not flashing BLUE so you'll be fiiiiine. Saw a guy on a road king the other day, headlight + 2 driving lights and all of them were modulating. Sure was distracting, I'm surprised idiot drivers don't drive straight at him.

I just found airframers post on the keyless. I have a 2007 1200C with the factory fob, but I have a regular key I need to use to start the bike. Am I understanding correctly that this will allow you to start your bike as long as your fob and phone are in proximity?

yes, the key only locks the the ignition switch. the tssm enable the ignition when fob or pin is present. without either, the bike says no to starting.

basically, what you see happening here, no key:

the stock sporty switch (non-hfsm) needs key to to control switch between off acc and ign.

not a good move for someone without security. see: barrel key defeat debate

 

bought my speedometer relo kit. now i have all the pieces bought for my bike other than intake/exhaust. can't wait to get it done and see what it looks like.
