Today I rode up to a friend's house to shoot the **** and have a taste of his
home made beer.
Parked in his dirt driveway...when I went out to leave, the bike was laying on
it's side. Broke front and back turn signals and busted the peg off the shifter.
The beer was good, though.
Dude, that was like a horror story. I'm guessing it got hit? Any cameras in the area or anything?
finally got a chance to ride today between rain showers and try this right hand shift I have been working on. Really works well and easy to get use to.
Now if I could just stop my left foot from trying to shift I'll be good.
Changed my seat ... again. I was tired of gripping the bars tight to keep from sliding back on hard accelerations, so I searched high and low and think I found the perfect seat... LePera Stubs Cafe seat. It looks great AND it keeps me from sliding back!

I've been looking at solo seats for my sportster. I really like that one. Looks comfy and looks good on the bike. Bike looks great too!

I think it looks neat and is it your fab? No kit?
Guess I'm wondering how you keep the throttle from dropping between shifts?
Can you post a pic of the left side of the bike?...I'd like to see it.

Wow, good job. Was it because you wanted to or because you had to?
here is a picture of the left side and one of the shift parts without the handle and mounting ubolts. it mounts to the frame with no mods to the bike or frame so it can be easely removed. i had been thinking about building this for about a year. it really made shifting cool and alot easeier then you would think.
