Yep, I sure do know where they are from… I’ve put a set on every Harley I’ve owned!

They are Arlen Ness Mini Oval Micro mirrors. They also come in chrome. I buy them from Revzilla.

Returning to the canted headlamp. The front glass is created as a lens to create a beam pattern and clearly that only works with the lamp correctly orientated.

You might be dazzling oncoming traffic even during the day and you might even be able to see a little better at night.

Did an oil and filter change yesterday, and thanks to your post I took a look around underneath for anything vulnerable and tidied things up. Sometimes the simplest things can cause the biggest problems.

On that particular headlamp I believe the glass is clear and smooth both inside and out. The reflector behind the glass creates the beam pattern.

I'm one of those guys who likes a clock on my bike.
Just want to share a cool clock bracket that my best friend Scott, a skilled machinist and drag racer ('40 ******) made for me. My original bracket was a POS that I made, poorly. Scott made this out of aluminum stock.
He replicated the OEM groves perfectly. Also, the photos make it look like it's very close to the tank, but it's an illusion; there's plenty of clearance. The clock is a Formotion Aviator model.

Discovered that the clutch switch no longer works.

I haven't looked yet but being a CAN bus bike this could be really expensive.

(showing my ignorance) I do not have a CAN-bus model, so does that mean that you
can not start it even when in Neutral ?

thanks,

T.

It starts in neutral. It is how I discovered it. For the first time in a very long time I stalled exiting my driveway which is soft gravel. Pulled the clutch and I couldn't restart the engine. I had to put it in neutral.

Okay it turns out there is a changeable switch, HD 71500117.

Not looked at the problem yet.

Should be easy to troubleshoot. Just bypass the switch and see if it starts. Just depends on whether its a NO OR NC switch.
