We've been riding on the left hand side of the road in Britain long before the first European set foot on North American soil.

Decided to remove the dust covers on the front shocks. I hate how they are discolored. I'm liking it.

I saw a new Harley the other day and it doesn't have the cover that covers the dust seal at the top of the fork slider.

The Iron was the only Sportster I know of that had those IMO stupid looking fork gaiters on them. If I had ever bought an Iron those would be the FIRST thing that was stripped off the bike.

I don't know what type of plastic/rubber Harley used to make them but, they always turn a greenish shade after being in the Sun. ArmorAll will return them to black, but it doesn't last long.

I think he means the chrome caps that press onto the fork sliders.

I too am not a fan of the gaiters. More a dirt bike kind of thing.

As far as I know, the Iron didn't come with caps of any kind on the sliders, just the exposed rubber seals. I know my son's '17 didn't, just had the gaiters
