That must have been fun, 250 other Sportsters. Wow.

I was a bit out with the numbers. Someone manage to count 364 bikes.

It was great fun. Highly illegal on the way blocking the roads so we could ride approximately 20 miles through some charming little villages.

On the Saturday we visited some shops and told them about the ride and asked if they would put up a poster. There was quite a lot of people out on the route.

Not to mention riding on the wrong side of the road!

I have only ridden in a few group rides, and have learned they are not my cup of tea. I enjoy being around all the bikes amd watching them, but to ride in the group is a bit nerve racking for me.

Looks like a lot of fun Andy, I would have loved to have a chair alongside the road for that one.

This is something of a special occasion to ride in such a large group. The speeds are kept down deliberately.

The thing is to ride your own ride. If you don't want to go as fast as the guy in front don't. It's that simple.

As you can see here it is all quite civilised:-

The guy at the end that roars around the outside is a blocker going to his next spot. Finally a view of the cars that had to wait for us.

Got the SuperLow out this morning to run to Walmart to pick up a prescription. It's only around 10 miles to Walmart, but I'll be damned if it didn't take 50-60 miles to find my way back home. Funny how that works.
