Finished the front end today and test fit the new gas tank. This is what the end result will look like. Still have some wiring to do. I think it came out pretty clean.

Nice work, looks like a Wilwood caliper up front. I really like mine, huge difference in braking.

Felt good on shake down ride, time will tell.
*Did NOT completely eliminate brake dive, would have been surprised if it did 😂

Hold up the bike better than stock...no sag tho, so might trim the spacer

Finish came off super easy on install, not surprised.

Spent an hour with Novus plastic polish for the windshield. Then topped off the gas tank and went for a 68 mile ride.

Found that the rear tire drains 5 psi per 2 hours. Could not find any screw or bolt in it, will go to the service tomorrow.

Do you run spoked wheels? Could be the tube inside leaking.

In the service already. Puncture found.
Tubeless alloy wheel, so it allows to pump-up and ride despite the slow leak.

Certainly nothing glamorous, and one of the things I hate doing most: I replaced the battery in my '99. Hate that Fckin' job. A sadist designed that space, I'm sure of it.

I've put 0 miles on this year as I recover from 2 surgeries (hip and knee replacements) and prepping for a shoulder replacement in 7 weeks. Right now I'm feeling pretty good so maybe I'll get in a few rides before October.
Been having fun on the boat and in the convertible, but I really miss my mental health sessions on the bike.

Ride safe everyone!
