Ha! I swerved that. i was just going out to test ride it and the in-laws turned up. So I unintentionally missed it! The bike did get rained on so I gave it its first wash.

Took the chrome strip off the gas tank today I like how it turned out

I did that too, but, put the real chrome one back on. It's the one in my picture here.

Well, I just completed the purchase of an 07 sportster roadster model, from my buddy, who gave me a SCREAMING deal on it. I had purchased a couple mods for it prior to buying it from him (I had the bike a couple weeks prior to getting the money). I put on a solo seat, and a Memphis Shades gauntlet fairing. Put about 150 miles on it so far. I have to replace the original grips-they are almost completely destroyed. Thats next on my list .

Installed windshield and crash bar today. Set up for short range back roads cruising.
