50 miles til the light came on - previous tanks have got 60 miles til the light came on.

Yesterday I tried and failed to fit my intimnators and xr12 caliper due to not having the correct sized socket for the fork caps and no Dot4 brake fluid. I'm off out shopping now to hopefully remedy that!

Happy days ...

Lucked out on getting a 35mm socket today. Halfords do a 34 or a 36 but no 35!:doh Found one on eBay for half the price of what Halfords would want for one, should they had it, and that is winging its way to me as we speak. Intiminators now moved back a week.

In other news I did fit the XR1200 caliper. It was a real sod to bleed and still isnt quite right. So Ive tied the lever back under pressure and will see how it is tomorrow morning and of course hopefully get a test ride and bed it all in.

Rode out to my friend's house today to take a peek at some work he'd done on his '50 Chevy.

Fitted the XR1200 caliper to my 2013 Iron. Just got back from test riding the bike with the it fitted. Wow, just wow!!! Really nice brake now. Nice feel at the lever coupled with superb stopping power. Massive difference in braking power. I'm really, really pleased with it.

Anyone looking for more braking power, you just found it. Deffo no need for master cylinder upgrade as it has more than enough bite as it is.

One thing though I definitely need to fit the intminators now as it does dive a bit now!! ;D
