No pics on the new engine but here it is on the old engine. Placement is pretty much the same.

Got it out of the garage and did a short ride to warm it up. Even though the roads look dry I am in farming country and there is plenty of mud about. At one junction I think I felt a bit of a shimmy from the front wheel slowing down.

I had Progressive 430 shocks 11.5" fitted and they seemed pretty hard even though they had the standard spring. I have fitted some K-Tech Razor Lite shocks 12" and on this short ride there is a noticeable difference. Progressive has no damper adjustment so a very big compromise IMO. The K-Techs have adjustable rebound damping. They possibly need a small tweak to firm them up just a little bit.

I stacked a few things on top of my 2006 Sporty since I needed to put them in the garage and didn't have time to put them anywhere else.

Rush slipons, and changed the oil after breaking in my 1275. New footpegs, and shifter peg. Coming along nicely.

Warmed it up again today with a 100 mile round trip for breakfast out. The roads are still a bit slick but started drying out for the run home.

Which are ? Just wondering... I really haven't had any issues in my Sportster with
NGK plugs unlike my Softail, which for some reason does not 'like' Iridium plugs.
Maybe its the "Ion Sensing". Don't know for sure....

thanks,

T.

OEM Harley plugs. Iridium plugs were NGK “screaming eagle” set.

An indy here who has been working on Harleys since forever has used nothing but HD plugs and never has a problem. All the problems with plugs have been someone else's.
