What did you do to Your Sportster Today?
Finally finished working on my 2006 Sporty for the time being.
Not replaced - My original rear brake line which is 16 years old and has 327,000 miles on it. I keep getting air in my rear brake system and suspect this may be the cause. May let the Indy do that since it looks like a pain to do.

That is strange about the forward controls as SuperTrapp state the pipe will fit with forwards or mids.
Although the pictures are small you can see that one bike has mids post #14 and one has forwards post #19.

As you can see it is a very tight fit but it did work and I rode this way for a couple years with no problems. The only reason I went back to mids w/ highway pegs is at higher speeds on the hwy it was really tough to keep my feet on the pegs with the LaPera bare bones solo seat. I am only 5'8". With the mustang solo seat and mids hwy riding is pretty nice but I don't do a lot of it anyway.

I put the catch can back on today. I thought I'd try the DK Customs style breather bolts but they spit oil pretty good once the sponge gets saturated (which is pretty fast). I thought being a new engine it would throw less vapor out the breather but no not really. The catch can makes for a much cleaner ride.

I see them in the previous picture above....
thanks!

The staff at Rick's are very helpful, maybe they will build it for you in the extra size? They replaced my cover after more than 1 year after I bought it because I ordered the wrong size, at no extra cost. Was still a newbie and thought every Sportster had a 30 tooth pulley....
will probably look better, but here is what I did ~9 years ago (then switched it up later).
Find a sprocket cover that you like - then make the hole in the stock cover just big enough
to expose only the sprocket cover.... Here's a pic of what I am referring to. I used a
sprocket cover from Figure Machine (which is no longer in business)
good luck & hth,
T.
