I thought it was something like we have here in the UK in September, we take food to our church and give thanks to God for providing us with a good harvest to see us through the wintertime, that is what we call our Harvest Festival. It isn't a public holiday though.

I lubed the chain, aired up the tires, topped off the oil, and went for a chilly ride this morning.

I was able to get back out again this afternoon. Nice sunny 50*F day until around 2:00 when the clouds started moving in. Rain is headed our way later tonight and tomorrow.

Replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, voltage regulator. Now fighting with the quick disconnect fuel line to get it to lock in place with the fresh o rings to get it to seal.

So, battery again! This day it didn’t crank, last two weeks it was cranking with effort.
This time battery sustained for only 4 months.

Can you run through the usual Q&A again please?

Charged new battery before use? Was it already activated and do you have that date?
Checked all connections?
Charging system with voltages at different revs?
Voltage at battery terminals?
Parasitic amperage?
Time between rides with no tender in use?

I did come across a new battery from Motobatt - https://www.motobatt.com/en/hybrid-batteries

The MHTX16 looks interesting with the claimed spec.

I installed the DK customs coil and ignition relocation kit with the red screamin eagle wires of course!!. Drag bars with the LA Choppers 2 " riser and flipped the mirrors back underneath to give it a nice clean look and keep everything below the bars. left side mirror rod needed a little modification but i can see much better now..

much better look

Battery was provided and installed by indie service station, so I have not much idea what did they do with it. Except, they checked voltage at revs and said it is good, because I complained to them about previous batteries.
No tender was used, bike runs daily 30 km to work and 30 km back home, most of my way is highway, giving good revving to engine (up to 140 km/h speed limit here).
So, batteries summary is following:
18 months with "native" OEM battery.
15 months with original OEM replacement.
4 months with 3rd party battery.

Considering no winter and regular daily riding, somethings is wrong here. On my previous bikes battery never was any kind of concern except replacement once in years.

I apparently ride less than you on a daily basis, especially these days. My Forty Eight Harley battery has been on a tender whenever I'm not riding for the past 28 months and has never failed to start the bike right up.
