There should be dust seals on your wheel bearings, it's probably a good time for you to change the bearings as dust and grit getting into the ball races will trash them sooner rather than later.

Interesting feeling from riding these Avon Storm 3D x-m tires.
  • No more front end shimmy.
  • Rubber feels very soft on touch and on riding. Still smells fresh rubber.
  • Bike “falls” deeply when leaning in curve. Feels uncomfortable, but makes it very easily maneuverable. So far I am riding carefully until tires run-in.
  • Surface looks steep. Maybe it’s just in comparison with old tire that was worn to flattened shape.

Added a set of Khrome Werks slash cut slip ons and a V&H FP3 plus a Mustang Duke Regal two up seat. The Khrome Werks sound awesome and was an easy install and they fit like a glove. I highly recommend them!

I have Khrome Werks tapered mufflers and I agree they sound very good. When I was looking to change the mufflers Khrome Werks came up as ones likely not to mess with where the engine produces its power.

On your bike and from 2017 on HD added a gasket in the muffler. Compared to the other option of not having that gasket I can tell you it can sometimes be a real pig separating the muffler from the header.

No gasket in the stock mufflers nor do these have any and they fit snugly and there's no leaks at the junctions

You do see that it's not listed for US market....Trust me I've had 3 different Irons and taken off the stock mufflers and there are no gaskets from the factory

Okay missed that, sorry. I wonder why us Brits get the gasket and you don't?

Considering the environment you ride in, AllBalls wheel bearings might be a good choice, if they're still made the same way. I put a set on my 1200 some years back, they came well packed with Chevron synthetic grease and are double sealed on both sides. I'd normally consider the double seals just a marketing feature, but with all that sand, couldn't hurt. I've had the wheels off a couple times since and the bearings and grease still looked just like they did when new. I know from my trail bike days sand can work its way into bearings.

According to part catalogue there is just bearing and spacer indeed. Older models had dust seal ring as well.
I remember, my little Honda had a dust seal that gone bad and full of sand very quickly.
