Also, does your right leg get hot since you dont have any heat shields on those exhaust pipes ?
thanks,
T.

Doing 20,000 mile services to a 2008 and 2017. Done the fluids and some other bits but keeping both in rideable condition as I tackle each part.
I did a breather bypass on the 2017 not that long ago and the air cleaner is totally devoid of any oil. Fortunately it is a washable type and it was oily the last time I had it off the bike.

I replaced my derby cover gasket on my 2011 XL883N today due to the old gasket weeping oil, when I removed the cover I realised that last time I adjusted the clutch I'd nipped the lower part of the gasket when replacing the cover.
£3.50 for the new gasket including shipping from V-Twin Mania in Edinburgh.
I replaced the cover carefully this time and I now have an oil tight seal on the derby cover, problem solved.

Thats crazy. I JUST got home, and filled my Ultra Classic, and mine did not lock, but did not auto stop, and drenched the tank and engine in gas. I half expected to become a human torch, thankfully got nothing but stink. Its on driveway now cooling off, waiting for a bath before parking in the garage.
