Lovely 130 mile ride yesterday in glorious sunshine. Stopped at the 1066 cafe and won third place in the charity bike raffle eventually ended up at the fuel coffee shop (Sussex - UK) where their photographer took some excellent photos of my bike.
Great day.

Nothing wrong with the ABS side covers. I was surprised when I found out mine were steel, why? My Ultra has ABS side covers.

I installed the RSD Cafe gauge holder, but with the current risers and joker machine indicator clamp, I was unable to see the LCD portion of the gauge easily:

So I tried swapping over to the Kemimoto clamps:

Looked tacky as hell, but tried CADing/3D printing this out and this is was I got:

And just for funsies, here are all my iterations until the 'final' product above:

Default Yamaha Davidson? Harmaha..?

I have myself a full-on “work in progress” situation here but I fit a Yamaha SCR950 seat subframe onto my 2001 XL1200C. The SCR is built on a Yamaha Bolt frame which is similar to that of the Sportster so it really didn’t take a whole lot of cutting and welding to fit up!
