RevZilla has offer on Arlen Ness 14" Big Rotor For Sportster 2014+ now. Does it work well with ABS? Considering location of ABS sensor, I suppose it should not interfere with rotor and calipers, but better to check everything.

I just wonder if this is a 'discontinued model' ? ie) Revzilla lists the mfg part number as 02-969,
yet if you use that part number at the Arlen Ness website, the search turns up nothing.
However, 02-966 works for 2013 & older Sportsters 15" rotor application....

SO - not sure what to say other than if you want 14" rotors then go for it.

good luck,

T.

I wrote a question to Arlen Ness support. Looks a bit sketchy that RevZilla claims this part "made in USA" and Amazon listing says "made in Taiwan".

Didn't care it was only 30*F out today, this is the kind of weather I bought the heated glove liners and vest for. Stopped out at IndyWest HD to see if they had anything I just had to have, they didn't...

What did you do to Your Sportster Today?-ffeoepwl.jpg

Ended up being out around 2 hours this afternoon, I did see one other brave soul out this afternoon but that was it. The last half hour my toes were starting to get pretty cold so I headed home.

Whats up with that? I'm surprised they didn't have a chromed front caliper to offer you...

I just bought this neglected 07 1200R. Got it for a good price, so I can afford to upgrade suspension. Has a tuner installed so it’s running good for one that’s been sitting a bit. This is my 6th Roadster.

Ok, here we go.... I have NOT researched this, I'll leave that to you.
I kind of like doing that part... Anyway, like 'alot' of HD parts, there
will be those that 'work' from other 'platforms' where HD does not say they will...

SO, for instance, I use the XR1200 calipers on my Iron, even though HD does not
list that as an option. I would suggest that you could get a 'better' 4-piston CHROME
front caliper from the Touring line, perhaps, part number 41300148, or even the older
HD Touring-Brembo (in Chrome).

EDIT: here's Cvaria's HD-Brembo setup on his Sportster for inspiration.

That ought to give you something to research this winter for times when you're not riding....

good luck,

T.

These are what I am referring to. Again, it's up to you to do the research...
They might require a larger rotor too. That'd be an 'opportunity' to switch
to a nice floating rotor....

good luck,

T.
