What did you do to Your Sportster Today?

Tested the red high lift jack I got from HF and gave her a good cleaning and waxing. Cleaning is much easier with the bike 2ft in the air. No rain for the next four or five days so I will be riding to work this week!
The jack worked great. Bled the jack prior to using. It slides right under my Custom with plenty of clearance. The jack is stable and raised the bike with ease. This is going to make all maintenance and mods soo much easier.

This one? That's pretty nice. I might have to look at one after next month's move.
I used the tie down straps provided to secure the bike to the stand. It held it up without the pin for ~2.5 hours while I cleaned and waxed my bike. Wheels are so much easier to clean when you can rotate them freely.
The lift/bike can/did move but the bike was secure and I never felt like it was going to fall off or the jack was going to tip over. The release valve on the jack gives you ultimate control when lowering the bike to go as fast or as slow as you want.
I put the jack together, slid the jack under the bike, and raised and lowered it without the need for assistance. It's bulky and will definitely take up some space but is easy to maneuver. Gets my seal of approval if you're like me and don't want to have to use the old 2x4 trick to allow clearance for the other jacks out there.
My Custom has a little less than 4 1/2" of clearance with the 11" Progressive 430's I'm using and I had plenty of room to maneuver the jack underneath it. The plus is I now get to raise the bike high enough to not have to get on my knees or sit on my *** to do maintenance.

I have too much time on my hands... lol
So the wire tuck and relocations are done. I did the DK R6 ignition relocate too. I'd prefer to not have an ignition at all but am not smart enough to figure out the wiring on it.
Last night I came up with an idea to incorporate the emblem from my late father's service hat into my bike by making a key out of it. He's my dad and it's nice to have a piece of him on the bike. I grew up riding on the back of his bikes so it's nice.
I chopped the key down and used JB weld to set it into the backside of the emblem. I looked around today but couldn't find the right jam nut to swap out the stock bezel with so it sits out from the ignition quite a bit. I'll fix that later. Key can still be removed from the ignition if I want to but leaving it in probably wouldn't be risky since it's hard to tell it's the ignition. I'll add a small, braided wire for security when I find the right jam nuts.
