Installed the HD Stage 1 air cleaner and the XiEDs from DK Customs. Put about 100 miles on since the install. I like it.

Oil temps running pretty much the same, 220, as before the upgrade. However, the engine seems to me to be running "smoother". Perhaps its my imagination, but that is the impression I have. During acceleration, the bike doesn't seem to struggle as much as I wind it up. Doesn't seem to labor as much. Again, maybe I am just wishing that to happen.

Oh, I have Cobra 3" slip-ons to go with the Screaming Eagle air filter upgrade and XiEDs.

 

I sprayed some Simple Green on the rear wheel and sprocket cover before washing the bike. It dissolved that black sheen without elbow grease. I haven't seen those things that silver in 50k miles.

 

I motored to Requa to check on the repairs to Paul Bunyan's arm, he got smacked by tree last winter. They got the arm back on, working at getting the hand to wave again.

What part is your housing for the speedo? Is that just a stock 72 housing?

 

Nice...I like it. Are those mini beach bars or flander swept back?

 

I installed a new 2 up seat...then got the tank bra.
