What did you do to Your Sportster Today?
Added a dual USB port to my Iron 883. I ran the wire from the battery down and along the frame tube toward the front, and zip tied it to the frame beside the gas tank mounting bolt. The wire and port are barely noticeable. Now I can power my phone and helmet Bluetooth on long rides.
This one on Amazon includes a switch to turn it off and prevent battery drain.

Replaced the seat mounting screw. I had swapped out the temporary Le Pera Bare Bones with the new leather one that arrived last week. I reused the same screw to mount the new seat, and when I got back from riding, I noticed the screw was gone! I SWEAR that it was tight when I put the new seat on! Fortunately, it didn’t ding or scratch anything after it left the fender (but I would feel bad if it hit a car when it flew off).
I went down to the dealership, picked up a new one, and put it on with blue Loctite.
No idea what the issue was: it’s the same damn seat and mounting bracket as the old one...

Never had that happen to me personally, but just for reference, you can order aftermarket versions off amazon for
alot cheaper than the HD (HighDollar) dealer option. I haven't had any issues with the aftermarket ones...

Uploaded my MAP to Vance & Hines at 11:00 this morning to have a new MAP developed to recalibrate the Forty-Eight speedometer due to the new 31 tooth front pulley I had installed, (stock is 29 teeth) and the resultant pop on deceleration.
Without this new MAP, I would be riding at roughly 75 MPH but the speedometer would have only indicated 70 MPH. The differential is proportionate at all speeds. The 31 tooth pulley resulted in a big reduction in RPM's needed at highway speeds, and also tamed 1st gear takeoff...
Cheyne sent me a new MAP within 4 hours...on a Saturday no less. It's locked, loaded and ready for tomorrow's ride...
Now THAT'S customer service!
On Thursday, I also had a H-D Hollywood Handlebar installed, and the DK Custom coil and ignition relocation performed. The relocations are awesome looking, and the new handlebar really transformed the riding experience for me...so much more comfortable than the stock bar...
