rode it again, from the weather forecast it will be the last for 2020. Exactly what is the wind chill at 70 mph @ 30*F?

Looks like 9 degrees.

That would explain why my toes started getting cold...

I spent 24 years in the Navy and when I would go on cruise I just pushed the bike in a corner of the garage, filled it with gas, filled it with oil, unhooked the battery and covered it up. Six to twelve months later I would break it out, change the oil, hook up the battery and go. Never had any problems.

Pre-Ethanol gas, we did the same in Maine for 6 months. Fill the tanks, if it had a radiator, drain it. Unheated garage, removed the battery and placed it in the basement.

We can still get non-ethanol gas pretty easily around here. Same thing - I just make sure the tank is full, and charge the battery if it needs it. Cranks up in the spring and runs fine, no gas treatment needed.

You're right! I shouldn't have said "radial", just "modern".

Installed the F A G 7200B throw out bearing today.
Not hard, took me longer to actually find the
appropriate size large & small nose snap-ring pliers....

Pics are the stock bearing as-is right out of the bike, not cleaned up yet....

We'll have to see if the clutch pull is better, it was late afternoon when I started &
dark/cold when I got done.

Personally, when I installed an SKF thrust bearing in the clutch, I didn't notice any difference in clutch pull effort.
