What did you do to Your Sportster Today?
Of all the Sportster's I've ever seen in person, this is by far the best color and style. I wouldn't change a thing on this. Where did the rear luggage rack come from? It's also perfect.

I quit doing pictures after being screwed by Photobucket.......I can text/email them to you if you would like. They vibrate a bit while riding but no worse than if they were direct mounted to the fender rails. They have a metal framework that supports the bag and that bolts to the bike.
Just go down the page where it says "advanced" and you can click "manage attachments" and from there you can figure it out.
Nothing to the bike itself but, I did pick up the new front tire at the shop I do business with. Now all I'm waiting on is the Dyna Beads and I'll have everything I need to have the chrome sliders installed, and the new tire mounted up.
About ready to pull the trigger on a pair of Progressive Monotubes. Hey, the forks are basically being rebuilt anyway so why not... It's just money.

Windshields a couple pages back - Some years back I got a quick detachable Plexifairing 3, and it's the most protective handlebar mount I've ever been behind. I've ridden in freezing weather and while I like my 1200 naked best, that's just too damned cold for a strong breeze. On my Custom anyway there's almost no buffeting, and it really blocks the wind. Does have two negatives - there isn't enough airflow behind it to cool a mesh jacket, around 70 degrees I can't wear one. Forget leathers above 65 degrees. Second, it's loud, even though you don't feel much breeze, the wind roars around it, and it reflects engine mechanical noise. I didn't know how noisy that 1200 was till I put this on. For any kind of long ride, earplugs are a good idea. But if you want good relief from wind pressure and ride in cold weather, these big, kind of ugly, wimpshields are very good at that. I think the fork leg extensions that are part of it is what really knocks down the buffeting, there isn't much air coming from below the fairing.

The longer filter is for the M8 engine. It may fit the Sportster. Women like my M8 Trike because it sports the new longer filter.

The newer GT model is not bad looking with the rounded edges.
