Headed out this morning and for the most part cruised narrow county roads, nice cool weather this morning, low/mid 60's. Some corn is still standing, but the farmers are hard at work getting it picked.

 

Bumped the air in my shocks up to 2psi.

 

Went for a beautiful ride through the mountain twisties, enjoying the leave changing color everywhere and starting to fall in the higher elevations. Gotta keep my eye out for leaves in the road; when they're wet, they're just like ice.
Lots and lots of other bikers out and they all waved today. I've noticed a lot of the non-cruisers haven't been waving lately -- snobbery? I keep waving anyway.

 

Also have to watch out for acorns, hickory nuts, and walnuts lying in the road.

 

Today's project, removing the HD mustache engine guard....









I'll get some bike pics without it a bit later after I tidy up the wiring to the LEDs.

couldnt ride today so i.had a new front and rear tires put on.painted white letters on front.shortened the rear blinkers,installed new pulley bolts.

 

Looks sharp! Makes it pop. I thought about painting the tire letters as well.
