I sure wish stuff lasted longer. Only 43 years. Not even enough time to really tell how the quality is.

Here you go. Your bike looks great. It's much easier to look at it if I don't have to keep turning my laptop sideways.

So it wasn't today, it was awhile back. I retro fitted a Triump Scrambler engine guard.
However, some folks may call it a gravel guard. It actually fits/conforms to the frame pretty good.
Here is a pic.

I like it! I just had to apply some touch-up paint to my frame in that area from "stone chips" in the paint. I can still remember the sound of the rock hitting it. Sounded like a gun shot!

Who else is excited abt more news on the future Sportster* engine update. Feel like my prayers have be answered for VVT on 45° v-twins from H-D.

A 45° unit construction, push rod, 4 valve, counter balanced, rigid mount, engine with VVT will surely be awesome. Hope and wish they knock it out of the park with this one.

I remember all the press with the new V-Rod, new Twin Cam 88, new Milwaukee 8. All of them had problems, including the ongoing M8. Still waitin' for something better than the Evo engine I already have. It was and still is, a great design for two model lines of Harley, the Sportster and the Big Twin. On another note, if I wanted a Big Twin (which I don't), it would have to have the Evo 80 engine.
