We had rain in Gloucester yesterday but today, Monday, it's glorious. Took a ride to Carterton Oxfordshire (RAF Brize Norton) to see our daughter. Bit cold on the way for the fingers but good gear kept the rest of me warm. On the way back it was around 12 degrees C so not bad and even the fingers weren't cold.
Had a great moment when a Buzzard flew across in front of me on the A40 return journey. Took a still screen clip of it from the helmet video camera.

Buzzard flying across my path on the A40 near Windrush.

Pity the resolution isn't better, as at first glance I thought that was a crash ahead of you! Awesome to have a bird fly past you, though! Better than me almost running over a squirrel that ran across my path during my last ride. Almost forgot about that. :P

Never underestimate a flying bird coming at you, especially a big and fast one. It's just as scary as a deer running straight at you. A hawk flew at my daughter's windshield on a twisty mountain road which caused her to flip the car many times and slide to a stop in a ditch upside-down. Fortunately, she survived due to the CR-V's strong frame and her seat belt. She was hanging upside-down in the car before she crawled on the ceiling toward the rear hatch to get out. She only had bruises but the car was "totaled". ALL wildlife are dangerous. After deer and bear, the biggest fear around here is a turtle in the road which is even worse than freshly dead and wet road-kill.

When I was in high school, (a hundred years ago) a female classmate died in a similar crash, except her car went into a drainage ditch full of water. She drowned before anyone knew she was there.

Glad your daughter survived.

Default Some stuff on my first harley

Hey everyone
New member here from Pakistan. Got my first harley 883 (2008) couple of months ago decided to get it wrapped. Used Avery Dennison wrapping as they had good reviews and added a kuryakyn air system
Now saving up for an exhaust and V&H fuelpak, because of high usd conversion rate here all parts are super expensive now
Color appears slightly less red than it actually is
