Leather appearance

I use a premium cage leather cleaner and then a separate preservative both from Townsend's -
use on all leather parts... always take the bike for a test ride and move around on the seat to be sure that I have worked the products into the seat well enough so that there is NO slipping around. if there is any at all, I rework the products until I get to none... you DONT want any slipping on your seat!

Nope - might feel "cleaner" and thus a tad easier to slide on - but that stops about the time I'm done applying the product. I've never noticed the seat to be slick when riding at all. I'm pretty **** about wiping the seats down once or twice a weak with a microfiber cloth that has a light amount of the Meguiar's on it. It's never slick, but it restores color and patina immediately.

doc baileys is good stuff....it keeps leather looking new without having a slimy finish. they have a clear also that can be used on any color. goes on easy and lasts a long time. my local Harley dealer also recommends it over the HD stuff. I have used it on my dads bike side bags and seats and also on my sick saddle seat and love it. it is sealed and protected and keeps the leather looking new
for my vehicles I use zaino brothers products....simply amazing
