Default Nightster vs 48 stock seats

I am riding a stock 48 seat when I am solo and find it is not helping my back any after I ride. I have air shocks coming under the tree for Christmas but want to get some opinions on the difference of similarities between these two stock seats. Are they as bad as each other? I mainly ask because I like the look of the nightster seat a lot.

Please do not suggest an aftermarket or customized seat in this thread as I know that is the true ultimate route to go but it is not in cards right now, especially after Black Friday.

I came speak to the nightster as far as comfort but I've seen a few 48s with a nightster seat attached. Anything is more comfortable than the stock 48 seat imo. If you do a search for nightster seat on a 48 there have been a few threads.

I got lucky and scored a 48 worked by mean city cycles at a discounted price. Then selling the stick seat almost put me back in the positive.

I have a 2011 48 with the stock seat on it now. I also have a stock Nightster seat I used for awhile. Not sure if the actual Nightster seat is more comfortable however, it does "lock" you in better, if that makes sense, with the added support on the back. It also will push you forward a little bit so you are not leaning over so much. As far as padding goes, they are both about the same which I think we can all agree is not good.
