Default brakes

I have a 2012 superlow with 27,000 miles and I got to wondering how many miles I might expect to get out of the brake pads. When I last looked seemed like I had plenty of pad left

How long is apiece of string? the brake pads wear very much is very much dependant on riding style,I tend not to use the brakes so much so mine last last longer than others might.

They are like tyres - can last some riders almost to eternity, but others just a few thousand miles. I would guess between 10-20k miles, but as per your owners manual, check them at each service.

The stock pads on Talulah were starting to show a lot of wear at 9500 miles, but then I do a lot of stop-and-go/inner-city-rush-hour riding. I replaced the old pads with a set of Gold Plus pads from Lyndall Racing when I replaced the tires. I replaced the brake fluid at the same time.

Last set lasted me 8932 miles, but that was with a lot of back road twisty riding and late braking.

About 12,000 on the stock pads, but getting ~45,000 using Lyndall Gold pads that I replaced the stock pads with. Better stopping, no squeaking, and NO brake dust on the wheels.
