97 custom, w/5000 mi........at the upper elbow.....not bad, but a 3 inch puddle in 3 days.......any easy fixes?

 

Upper elbow? Can you explain?

 

hose exiting the oil tank goes into an elbow turning down to the "t" fitting

 

Elbow is part number 62494-94B $2.99
first hose is just standard 3/8" ID hose. but part number 63564-94 $3.00
vertical hose before the T after the elbow is 63542-94A $4.99

I had to replace my drain hose(one you remove to drain oil on bottom of chassis.) with standard piece of hose at autoparts store. Cost me $2.00. Dealer should also carry hose by the foot.
