i am intrested to see how this comes out and holds up in the long run... i know it can take soem heat as we have used powder to clear dipped parts with great results...

ahhh great point! Knew they pC em bundidn't even make the heat connection. What is the approx temp of both PCing oven and long running heatshield? Anyone know off hand?

Wonderin if PC'ing the heatshield after dipping would yeild better results in longterm.

to be honest it all depends on the bike tune and set up for even if powder will hold up. I know the guy that tried to sell us a kit sugested that we never try to coat shields, that said he was a salesman just cause he said not to does not mean we can not figure out a way to make it work

Geez man, don't you just hate it when the OP goes silent like that. LOL

Sorry about that.

Verdict: Pipes are holding up very well. No sticky issues, no peeling, no problems. One very important thing to note when they do it though. Most companies try to speed up the drying process to get the items out asap, in this case be patient and let it dry naturally. It will be more durable with the heat. Believe me, the photo's doesn't do it any justice.
