Just ordered a new half helmet fromhttp://skullscreamers.com/cart/items/it1Extreme.htm. Got the screaming Charlie Extreme. What a bad looking helmet just could not resist the cool looks of it. I am a 51 year old geezer and drive a yellow pearl 1200 custom. I guess I have the "I need to be seen ) complex. I bought a full face Harley helmet at the time I purchased bike a few weeks ago and I can see accessories in all forms and fashions adding up. I will match the Harley jacket I got with the gift card I got at time of bike purchase. I has a big skull on the back of the jacket. I have been felling out of place with the non gear I have so far as I have been riding with a few friends who have been riding harleys for years. I think I have entered some kind of second childhood/mid-life crisis thing.
Also as a side note: let the wifey take the sportie for a ride in the big local parking lot today. She says the bike height/weight but she might consider one with just a little less power. I think an 883 custom will do her fine. Maybe in the next couple months we will have her a bike to

Got my Rush slip-ons saturday and the sound is awesome and the bike is officially broke in and it screams on the highways.
Awesome, Awesome ride indeed. This bike will remain in the family for many years to come.

 

Congrats on the new helmet. It's, ahhhh, interesting :-) Like you, I bought a full face first. I now have three to go with the weather primarily.
