We are still talking about putting a little fatter tire on a Sportster, a bike which primary design & geometry hasn't changed in 40 years? Maybe all that physics would come in handy when planning a set up on a 350lb 150 rwhp sport bike running at Willow Springs. On my '09 Nightster, when I put a 170/70 on, I noticed a big improvement in handling & ride-ability over the stock Dunlops. Also, I ride it agressively & on various types of roads with better results than the originals. I have put over 2,000 miles with this tire & once it wears out I will go back with the same size.

With those shinko's have you ever felt unsure about the sizing on the stock rim while riding? Like you felt it might be getting squirley or anything like that due to it technically being larger than what the stock rim is designed for?

Those exact tires will probably be my first set of new tires, definitely like to get a large tire on the back and if this set up works I'm even more sold!

Bump. Just about time for me to get new rear tire and was thinking of getting this one. For those that have had it for a few months or more, how's it riding so far?
