I have a 94 Sporty and very much want to change out the Speedo for one without a cable. Not wanting one of those cheap digital speedos; want a HD speedo.

 

I'm not sure you can, you would need some kind of speed sensor somewhere on the bike. I guess you could maybe find something that uses the tach signal somehow? Or, just put a electronic tach on and look like a racer. Not sure what you do for an odometer, dmv may have issues with that.
