Default New Harley Owner, Front Brake Rubbing

Hi, I'm proud new owner of a 2011 Sportster, SuperLow xl883,

Yesterday, I though I would adjust my handle bars and move them forward a bit, toke my bike for a two hour ride when returning home, I noticed that my front brake had started to rub.

Would this be because I had adjusted my handle bars, or is it something else.

I'm not in any way mechanical, but are a fast learner.

A little drag is normal. It probably did it before the bars were touched and you never noticed.

Thx guys:

This is all new to me. I've been told getting your first Harley is like having your first girlfriend.

This is so true. I'm always wanting to go for a ride, even if it's for a short one.

Now if I can just find people who ride as well to go on group rides.

My front brake has always made noise. Aftermarket pads helped with the noise a little. You should be fine. Just make sure you didn't kink your brake line when adjusting the bars.

If no one in your current social circle rides, you needed new friends anyway...
