I have the same set up.. TMS tour pack... but my full face helmet won't fit. Was looking at going up in size but not sure the larger touring model is gonna be big enough. And I like my backrest. It was a great investment but need more room and deeper box.

Damn, Sam. That was quick! It looks A LOT better without the aluminum, diamond plate package shelf. We used to put Guinness, Foster's Oil Cans and Wild Turkey in it. NEVER run out of beer! No exceptions.

Right on Wade, if you feel like getting out I'm camping in the hills of WV this weekend, you're more than welcome. Might be cold, I'll be numb

My sportster ride is comfortable but not lush. If I decide to tour I want lush which is simply not doable to a Sportster. I liken upgrading my sportster to the days when I use to build ultra high powered gaming PC's. I used to spend tons of money trying to make an old computer run like a top of the line. I decided its cheaper to go all in then to try to make something into what It was never designed to be.

You can tour on a moped, You can tour on a bicycle, you can tour on a Sportster but ask yourself is the money well invested or are you trying to make it into something you really want being a touring bike.

I was not trying to turn my sportster into a tour bike. I just saw it and thought it would be a good idea to have to lock up my helmet after I got mine stolen. I sine just got the helmet lock and am good to go.
