Default Vance and hine short shots ??

Does anyone have the short shots wrapped instead of the heat shields ? If so can I see pics thanks in advance

I think they look great wrapped, but when you wrap the heatshields they look too fat. Just my opinion, obviously some folks like them that fat.

I'm gonna wrap mine as well. Have all ready bought my black wrap. Don't wrap with the heat shields on, that just looks butt ugly IMO!
When I wrapped my header pipes (see pic) I used a 2" wide wrap (don't go for the 1"). Total length was 50 meters (164 feet) I ended up using almost all of it.

Soak it in water for about 10 min, that will let the wrap stretch more making it tighter on the pipe. And start wrapping from the backend and finish up towards the exhaust port flanges. If you want the colour to last longer rattle can it with some HT silicone heat spray. Or don't as I did, that's if you prefer the worn out look better and are ok with the wrap changing colour directly after your first start-up.

Good luck with it and post some pics when you're done!
