Got bored this weekend. Build a fuse cover with a polyester and glue gun for my 2008XLC. Due to design issue, the fuse and relay block easily got corrosion after washing or raining.

 

was thinking about making something for mine ... had to clean corrosion off it twice this season.

 

ugh ive had the same issue too many times. What do you guys use to clean it with. I've replaced my relays twice already.

 

isnt the problem with the water running down the frame into the fuse block? I like your idea but I dont think it will keep water from running down the frame tube into the block.

 

I am not trying to prevent water from running down to fuse block but reduce the chance of water splashing to the block after running down thru the hole to pass gas vent hose.



Plan to wash bike recently, I will take some pictures from the block before drying it. Hope the cover will do what I want...
