been off the forums for a while....

got up for a early sunday morning ride this morning...went halfway round the island and snapped this pic. was a nice scenic shot so thought i'd share. this is Makapu'u Beach on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. we refer to the rock in the background as "rabbit" island....lol....

 

Nice photo horizon in straight. Would love the same or close phot without the guard rail

 

Nice photo..and very nice bike. That's my favorite place to ride. I live in Hawaii Kai so sometimes I'll take the long way home and go up past Hanauma Bay and Sandy's and back home through Kealahou St.

 

thx for the critque...dabbled in photography while in college and still play w/ it occasionally...main camera is the iphone now...lol...

 

awesome. always nice to hook up w/ another islander. drop me a line if you ever want to get together for a ride.

btw...if you like that ride, you may also like the ride down to kaena pt out on the waianae coast. that is one of my favorites....as much as the route you described...when riding out to kaena pt, you are actually closer to the shoreline and right at sea level...check it out if you get a chance.

I did one of them this morning. Wife needed smokes. Two hours later i came home with smokes....

 

What a surreal shot, almost looks like your bike posed in front of a painting.
