Default Internal wiring of stock bars ... Anyone done it?

I dont mind the ride w/ stock bars on my nightster but I hate seeing all those electrical wires. I was thinking of drilling holes myself and passing them through ... wouldn't mind knowing if its possible and what ppl's thoughts were.

How do I go about removing individual wires from the harness / clip?

I recently took my stock wiring connectors apart it's not hard, occasional 4 letter words but not bad. Take lots of pics with phone.

There are a few folks on here that had done it over the past couple years ... can't recall names at the minute, but yes it is doable.

As for the connectors ... had to pull mine apart to run my wires. Its easy, really.

I used a wooden pick, but really any fine pick or even thin gauge wire could be used to lift the tabs that hold the wires in the connector housing.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking clear pictures of the connectors so you put them back together correctly.

Good Luck!!

A buddy of mine did the same thing about a year ago. He used masking tape to label all wires and took some pics for good measure. I think he learned some 'French' words along the way, but it looked pretty good when he was done. Cleaned up the bars real nice.
