Default Sportster Air Breather - K&N or Screaming Eagle?

I'm just new to the forum, have a 2010 XL1200C with Stage 1 kit, pipes and standard Screaming Eagle air flow. I love the look of the heavy air breather performance kits even though I might not get any more performance I'm still looking at switching over to this air system. HD has the Screaming Eagle heavy breather kit (#29264-08) and K&N makes a similar intake kit (#631126P) that's more oval shaped. anyonae know which is a better kit or if there's something else out there that's a better deal and looks as good?

Welcome to the forum.

As for the filter, I'd go with whichever one you think looks best. As for me, I kept the SE air flow, because I like the look of the ham can.

Good luck.

I got a DKCustoms intake and added a little touch for my self. Pics in my album. It's all personal preference.

Been away for awhile and back in the HD forum now - what I was wonderng about though is the 2 specific heavy air breathers - the SE kit 29264-08 and the K&N kit 63-1126P. both are similar kits with the cone filter but the mounting hardware is different and the K&N kit sems to have a filter that's a lot longer in length. I called the local HD store and all they can tell me is their SE kit uses a K&N filter but the hardware is definitely different. Anyone seen these two kits or know the difference?
