Hey guys, new here. As the title says, I'm a taller guy, 6ft 2in 200 pounds, and I was wondering. Are any of you my size that're riding a sportster? I really like the styling of them but I feel like I'll be too cramped. I am coming from a sportbike, so I'm used to "small and nimble". So that's why I'm considering a sportster, because it would get me more familiar with what an actual cruiser will feel like. My 2nd choice is the softail slim, but I'm not sure I want to spend that much money on my first cruiser. The sportster seems like it'd be a good first "non-crotch-rocket" bike. Any advice or opinions are warmly welcomed, thanks ya'll.

6'3", 230-240. With a Harley Pillow Look seat on both, my sporties are quite comfortable for me. You can put bars, seat, and pegs on any sporty to custom fit yourself. Maybe it's my weight, but the 883 seems pokey to me. The 1200 pulls hard way past any speed limit; very happy with it. The 883 has enough torque to cruise speed limits without much problem with headwinds or hills solo, takes a little more effort two up on hills; the 1200 scoffs at anything trying to slow it down, even two up; it'll carry 500lbs just fine. Suspension comfort is... not so great, but that's relative, it's a luxury tourer compared to many metrics I've ridden, and the suspension can be improved. If you really want comfort, though, and willing to give up knee dragging the twisties, something like my old Tour Glide is a comfort class few other types of bikes come close to.

6 ft 8? Holy cow tree88! If you can fit on one, I definitely can! I'm gonna drop down to about 190 pounds and I measured myself earlier and I'm a little under 6 ft. 1 1/2. I'd love to see some pics of you taller guys on your bikes.
I'm definitely gonna go with the 48. The raw look of it is SICK!!
