Hi guys, does anyone have any expirence of Avon Cobra tyres. The tyre man has recomended them over the Dunlops. I just need new tyres and the Avons are so much cheaper than the Dunlops. I like the Dunlops, I just don't know if they are worth the extra.

 

Avon's are definitely reputable tires, many here love them. If you can save a few quid, go for it and buy and extra pint on your next ride.

Better tires and spend less. The only thing you will regret with mounting Avons is not doing it sooner. The bike will track, handle and ride so much better once you get them rock hard dunlops off it.

 

Had a set on a previous bike and I LOVED them.

Anything is better than the factory tires.

 

I have a Cobra on my Glide and have been using Avons on my Harleys since the 70s. Be aware that they use slightly higher pressures than the Dunlops, so check Avon's website for the correct pressures.
