So I know this has been talked about a fair bit, but I am still unsure which direction to go. I have a Wolo compact air horn on another bike, but can hide it inside the fairing, which I can't do on the Sportster.
I have been seeing several Sportsters with the cowbell horn on the left side of their bike. Can I buy this whole setup as a unit? Or is there a particular horn and horn cover combo I need to buy or what? I would rather not waste alot of time and money on trial and error, but I can't seem to get a clear idea on exactly what works and what doesn't. Other than the baby kazoo horn I have definitely does NOT work.
Thanks.

I got a cowbell horn kit from Harley years ago for my 1991. Just a bracket, horn, and cover. Stock wires designed long enough to just plug and play.
Of course, they no longer have the key on the left side, so not sure how it mounts today, but if the 1200 still has one, you can probably get a kit.
